Aboriginal elders call for suspects in alleged juvenile detention centre abuse to be prosecuted



Barry Puruntatameri and Pirrawayingi Puruntatameri, who provide cultural support for detained indigenous peoples, said they were “horrified” by footage showing alleged abuses on teens at a juvenile detention centre in Australia’s Northern Territory, and called on the government to prosecute the offenders.
