June 21, 2018 is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ culture and heritage.  We must honor Indigenous Peoples on this day of summer solstice because many Indigenous Peoples  celebrate their  heritage at this time of year.

National Indigenous Peoples Day invites everyone  to learn the origins and  roots of Canada which is founded by First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
